A memorial service is scheduled for a University at Buffalo football player who passed away Monday afternoon.
Solomon Jackson suffered a medical emergency during a team training exercise last week. He was taken to Buffalo General Hospital, where he later died.
Public viewing will take place Thursday, March 3, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at WELLbuffalo, 995 Dodge Rd, Getzville, NY 14068.

A private memorial service will follow, and is limited to UB football players, staff, and family members.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to establish a scholarship fund in Solomon's name, and to help his family with medical bills.
