It doesn't matter where you are in Western New York, Tuesday's commute to work may just slow you down.

TUESDAY

A mix of rain and snow will arrive while you're in bed sleeping Tuesday. Rain will switch over to snow first for areas south and east of Buffalo. We're talking ski country. You folks can expect a wet 1-3" of snow in your neighborhood as you head outside Tuesday morning.
Expect a mix of rain and snow for us folks in Buffalo and the Northtowns for your commute into work. This may slow things down a tad on some of the major hubs. By late morning, expect any rain showers left in the area to switch over to scattered snow showers.

Colder air flowing over Lake Erie will spark some lake flakes south and east of Buffalo for the afternoon and evening.
As for temperatures, the afternoon and evening will feel less comfortable than the morning thanks to a stubborn breeze.
Dinner: 30F
There will be some Lake Effect Snow Showers in Chautauqua County. The band of lake snow will be limited thanks to dry air aloft.
