A Chautauqua County mother is expected in court after she allegedly used a tattoo gun to permanently ink her two sons.
On New Year's Eve, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office received a call to check on two boys, ages 12 and 13, at their Emery Hill Road residence.
Police say the boys were being mistreated by their mother, and it was determined that the mother, Chantilly Thomas used a tattoo gun on the boys in November.
Deputies say she tattooed "Ride or Die" on the back of her 12-year-old's hand, and a lightning bolt on her 13-year-old's hand.
Police say Thomas was not licensed to perform any tattooing in the United States. She's been charged with unlawfully dealing with a child.
