What's the cost of the "The Twelve Days of Christmas?"

The PNC Wealth Management Christmas Price Index says to buy every item — from 12 drummers drumming to a partridge and a pear tree — would cost about $27,673.

That's up one percent or nearly $300 from last year.

But buying those same items on the Internet will cost $42,959, about 8 percent more than last year's Internet price.

And if you are looking to purchase all the items each time they're mentioned in the song — that's 364 mentions of one item or another — you would spend $116,273. That's a modest 1.4 percent increase from a year ago.
