BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — School officials across Western New York are looking to slow the spread of coronavirus by implementing a range of school closures.

All Erie County Schools are now closed until April 20. The current plan is for classes to resume on Monday, April 20. This includes all Buffalo Public Schools. These closures take effect Monday, March 16.

Staff are being asked to report.

All public schools in Niagara County are closed indefinitely.

There are currently no positive cases of coronavirus in Niagara County. However, three cases have been confirmed in Erie County.
