The new performing arts center at Cradle Beach is beginning to take shape.
The New Era Performing Arts Center broke ground Tuesday.
The Angola site will significantly enhance Cradle Beach programming for children with disabilities and children with severe economic disadvantages.
The new building is made possible by a $540,000 donation from New Era Cap Company, the company's CEO Chris Koch, Lindsey Koch, and Valerie Koch. The building will be dedicated to the memory of Jack C. Anthony who was the Cradle Beach Director for nearly 30 years until 1996.
"Cradle beach is a place filled with hope, inspiration and comfort for many. New Era Performing Arts Center will be a place that combines those qualities with the power of self-expression," said Chris Koch.
