Patients and visitors at the Buffalo General Medical Center will be welcomed by a newly renovated lobby.
Local and hospital leaders cut the ribbon on the 11,000 square foot lobby Tuesday. It's part of a $5 million multi-year capital improvement project at the hospital.
The newly renovated lobby features a new information desk, an expanded seating area, admissions department and resource center.
There is also a brand new, state-of-the art auditorium space and covered walkway that is accessible to patients and employees in Colby Park.
On the outside of the medical center, funds were used to repaint the buildings facade, and there is new signage and entrance on the Ellicott Street side of the building.
