You can expect some delays along the I-190 on Sunday as new power lines are going up between Buffalo and Fort Erie.
New towers have been built on both sides of the Niagara River to hold the new lines the old ones were demolished last summer. Crews will use a helicopter to stretch ropes and cables first, then they'll use those to pull the new power lines across between the U.S. and Canada.
The work was supposed to be done on Saturday but weather conditions will be better for the helicopter to be used on Sunday instead.
