There's no shortage of summertime festivals in Buffalo. And this weekend, the Queen City welcomes one more - The Great Buffalo Jewbilee.
The festival - billed as the first of its kind in Western New York - will take place at the Jewish Community Center and Temple Beth Zion on Delaware Avenue, between Summer and Barker, this Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All events are free.
People of all faiths are invited to celebrate the Jewish culture by enjoying music, food, Israeli dancers, cooking demonstrations and more. A children's area will also feature bounce houses, face panting and games.
A highlight of the festival will be the 3 p.m. ribbon cutting marking the grand re-opening of the Jewish Community Center. The JCC now features an indoor playground.
