The Drug Enforcement Administration has arrested three people, including a Niagara Falls police officer, on drug charges.

Investigators have charged 28 year-old Stephanie Costanzo, a three-year veteran of the force, with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Raymond Hopson, 32, who lived with Costanzo, was also arrested as part of a joint investigation by the DEA and the Niagara Falls Police Department.

Hopson and Lindsay Carrier, 31 - both of Niagara Falls - are charged with conspiracy, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Detectives say Costanzo was charged after investigators executed a search warrant for the home she shared with Hopson.  There is no evidence she committed any wrong doing while on duty, police said.

Hopson and Carrier have been arrested in the past and remain locked up without bail.

Costanzo was released on her own recognizance. She is suspended from duty.
