The north lane of the northbound Grand Island Bridge will be closed nightly for bridge rehabilitation.
The $8.4 million project includes deck repairs, installation of new bridge joints and a new polyester concrete overlay on the bridge's deck.
Work is scheduled as follows:
- Monday - Wednesday: 9 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Thursday: 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Friday: 11 p.m. - 8 a.m.
Overhead Lane Designation Signals will be activated to make lane closures clear.
The rehabilitation is expected to be done by mid-November and may be postponed by weather.
