Sunday was not the first time Hillary Clinton has had a fainting spell.
In fact, in 2005 Clinton was in Buffalo when she fainted during a speech about social security.
According to people who were there that day, Clinton began her speech and asked for a chair. She left the room for a few minutes and then returned to begin her speech again.
"She has had a GI virus, an acute gastrointestinal virus," said Dr. Stephanie Pincus, who was in the room when Clinton collapsed. "She has been sick for at least a day. She needed to sit down, relax and get some fluids."
Guests at the event said Clinton was up and on to her next event at Canisuis College soon after.
"It wasn't as dramatic as it sounds," said Clinton. "I came up with the 24 hour virus in the last 24 hours. I will be fine."
