Tonawanda City Police arrested Daniel Pacana, 36 of Linwood Avenue Friday, for attempting to purchase food items from the Tops on Niagara Street with a counterfeit $100 bill.
When told the bill was fake, Pacana left the store, according to authorities. Officers located him a short time after and five other fake bills were confiscated. A wallet with credit cards that were reported stolen, were also found.
He's charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of a stolen credit card. Pacana's being held for court.
