The New York State Department of Transportation has announced it will suspend holiday roadwork.
Reps say to ease traffic over the busy holiday weekend, construction-related lane closures on NYS highways will be stopped from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22th to 6 a.m. on Monday, November 27th.
The DOT encourages travelers to download the new NYS Thruway Authority mobile app to monitor real-time traffic, a toll calculator, and request roadside assistance.
