Olean man accused of attacking man with knife

The Cuba Police Department has arrested 28-year-old Guy Ackley, charging him in connection to an assault on a man in the town.

Ackley, of Olean, is charged with first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, third-degree criminal mischief, and three counts of second-degree menacing. Police report Ackley "brandished a knife and assaulted a male victim." Police did not provide any details as to where or when the attack happened.

Ackley was taken to the Allegany County Jail, where he is held on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. The condition of the man assaulted in this incident is unknown.
