A young man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a pole Thursday morning.
The accident happened on Genesee Street at Rein Road in Cheektowaga just before 7:30 a.m.
Cheektowaga Police say the victim is 25-year-old Andrew Berghold, was likely speeding when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a pole.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are not releasing his name until the family is notified.
