Man and a teen tried to light a car on fire...by train?

One man and a teenager are charged with pouring gasoline into a vehicle and leaving it on train tracks.

On July 22nd, police say 25-year-old Christopher Weston and a 16-year-old left the vehicle on the train tracks with the intent that the train would hit the vehicle, causing the vehicle to start on fire. 

The train did collide with the vehicle at Station Road Town crossing in Ripley. 

Both Weston and the teenager were arrested and were taken to the Town of Ripley court. Weston was charged with unlawful interference with a railroad train and attempted arson.  The teenager was charged with unlawful interference with a railroad train and was released under supervision.
