On July 30th, the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested 21-year-old Danilo B. Ramirez-Lopez for rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
Troopers were dispatched to a possible rape investigation in Allegany County, that revealed Ramirez-Lopez befriended the 16-year-old female victim on Facebook. The man drove to the victim's residence and engaged in a sexual act at another location.
Ramirez-Lopez was arraigned at the Town of Andover Court and placed in the Allegany County Jail's custody at $10,000 bail.
