A  Lakeridge Drive home in Orchard park caught fire Saturday morning after being struck by lightning.

Police say the second floor and roof were 'engulfed' by flames by the time crews got to the seen. No injuries were reported.

Police say the strike happened around 8:17 a.m. The crews were able to tame the fire without the rest of the home becoming badly damaged as well. The initial damage estimation stands at roughly $200,000.
