Buffalo Police arrested a parolee for an attempted sexual assault.
Police arrested Langston Austin, 51, in connection with the alleged incident. They said in late February, a distraught woman flagged down officers on the city's east side. She reported being assaulted and threatened by a man known as Langston, who was armed with a knife. She was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
The subsequent investigation led police to Austin, who they said also goes by the name Langston Block. Austin appeared in city court Thursday on charges of attempted assault, forcible touching, assault and menacing. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, pending further court action.
