A busy one-way street that runs through the heart of Downtown Buffalo is about to make its debut as a two-way thoroughfare.
Pearl Street will open to two-way traffic from West Tupper and Lower Terrace at 7 a.m. Friday.
The conversion is part of a $2.5 million project to improve traffic flow downtown.
Crews have spent the past several days repaving and striping the street and installing new traffic light poles.
