Town of Hamburg Police are investigating a crash that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a car hit the 43-year-old Town of Hamburg man on Route 20 between South Park and Riley Boulevards in Hamburg around 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
The crash prompted police to shut down one side of that portion of Route 20 for several hours.
Police described the victim's injuries as "major," but there is no word on their current condition.
