A Shrine Circus motorcycle rider has been hospitalized after crashing in the Motorcycle Cycle of Death act this afternoon.
The rider, 23-year-old Tyler Burke, suffered a broken collarbone and other injuries, according to a press release from Lyons Media.
As of Sunday afternoon, a spokesperson for Lyons Media tells us Burke suffered a separated shoulder, torn rotator cuff, and major ligament damage. He will have an MRI later today to determine what surgery will be needed.
Burke would also like to thank the public for their outpouring of concern, prayers, and good wishes.
Shrine Circus will continue performing at the Hamburg Fairgrounds Events Center until 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
