An online petition floating around the internet is putting more pressure on Bishop Richard Malone to step down.
More than 2500 people have signed the change.org petition calling on the bishop to resign after the way he handled cases of sexual abuse and misconduct within the Catholic Diocese.
On Tuesday, a group of protestors gathered outside of the annual red mass at St. Joseph's Cathedral calling for Malone's resignation.
The public outcry comes after several 7 eyewitness news I-Team investigations revealing Malone not only knew about accusations against practicing priests but that he also allowed some to remain in ministry.
