La Nova's employees prepare to work around the clock Super Bowl weekend as the sale of pizza and wings skyrocket.
"We have a lot of FedEx orders going out overnight for the big Super Bowl," said Dave Alessi the general manager at La Nova. "There's a lot of transplant Buffalonias across the country that want a slice from home."
Sandra Young a La Nova employee said they make close to 500 sheet pizzas on Super Bowl Sunday.

The days leading up to that La Nova is preps nearly 300 pies a night and 20,000 to 25,000 chicken wings.
"Pizza we'll do in the thousands. We do lots of sheets and larges," said Alessi.

The Super Bowl doesn't mean big business just for La Nova. According to a Times report pizza business booms nationally.
The report shows digital sales for Pizza Hut broke last year by halftime, Domino's saw an 80 percent increase in sales and pizza was America's #1 food last year.
