A 10-year-old child was injured late Monday night when someone shot multiple rounds into a Jamestown home.

Jamestown Police say it happened around 9:20 p.m. on East 2nd Street. Investigators were called there after the child was injured. They are still investigation the shooting.

Five bullet holes could be seen in one window. Police said that window is likely where all of the shots were fired into.

The child was taken to WCA Hospital and later transferred to Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo for further treatment. The child is said to be in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they received multiple tips, but still need more leads in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call 716-483-8477.
