Twenty people were arrested Friday at a Geneseo bar popular with college students.
Police officers, sheriff’s deputies and investigators with the State Liquor Authority and Department of Motor Vehicle raided “The Statesmen,” a bar on Court Street in Geneseo, last Friday night.
The DMV arrested 20 people who had a fake ID or someone else’s driver’s license while the SLA documented four sales of alcohol to minors.
Despite the arrests, The Statesmen posted on Facebook the following night that it was open for business.
