U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers stopped more than 1.2 pounds of marijuana from entering the U.S. Monday.
CBP says officers were inspecting a commercial shipment that arrived at the Lewiston Bridge commercial warehouse when they found cans labeled as canned "Moose" and "Husky". The officers opened the cans and found the marijuana inside.
“CBP officers remain vigilant and work hard to keep our communities safe,” said Acting Port Director Cary Frieling. “Our officers’ experience, combined with the use of available tools, continues to keep dangerous drugs from entering our country.”
