A Buffalo attorney who was disbarred after admitting he stole funds from his clients and using the money for his own personal use is heading to prison.
David Widenor was sentenced Monday to two-and-a-third to seven years in prison for stealing $207,000 from one client and one to three years for stealing $18,000 from a second client. The sentences will run concurrently.
Widenor used the money he stole for his own personal use, including paying for his children’s education.
