A 10-year-old girl ran home on Tuesday when a man in a car asked her if she was alone and if she would like to get something to eat.
The incident happened in the 3300 block of Sandy Beach Road on Grand Island. The little girl was near her home when a man in a red car approached. He asked her if anyone was there with her and if she would like to get something to eat.
The girl immediately ran home and called her mother.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, but deputies say the little girl did everything right: fled from possible danger and immediately contacted an authority figure.
