State Police arrested a man for DWI this weekend after he struck a utility pole.
On Saturday, troopers were called to Ivory Road in Frewsburg for a car accident. Officers interviewed Cody Confer, 23, of Jamestown who said he lost control of his vehicle before striking the utility pole.
Troopers say Confer smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. He reportedly had a BAC of .14 percent.
Confer was arrested for DWI. He is due back in court at a later date.
