A man, who authorities say was in the country illegally, has been charged with several felonies after a police raid of a residence in the Town of Yates.
The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force along with the DEC and the Department of Homeland Security executed a search warrant on Alps Rd. this past Thursday.
Gregario Salinas-Guzman, 32, was allegedly in possession of a defaced handgun, 2 shotguns, a rifle and various forged documents.
Salinas-Guzman was arraigned and taken to the Orleans County Jail. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have filed an immigration detainer for Salinas-Guzman.
