The Town of Tonawanda Police are asking the public for help to identify a man who is suspected of stealing a a donation collection jar intended to help fund cancer research.
The collection jar was taken on August 21st from the Red Apple store on Colvin Blvd..
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5'6" tall, driving a gray Chevy Silverado extended cab truck with a soft cover over the bed. The truck has white license plates.
After stealing the money the suspect was last seen driving south down Eggert Road. Anyone with information can contact Det. Jeff Campanella at 879-6635 or the Confidential Tip Line at 879-6606. Refer to complaint #17-733515.
