A man who police say was drunk and disorderly allegedly threatened to kill an officer with a large folding knife.
Authorities were called to East 2nd Street in Jamestown around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night after getting complaints about Brian Livingston, Sr.
Officers say when they arrived and approached Livingston, he threatened to kill an officer and pulled out a large folding knife. He then allegedly began to advance on the officer.
Police took Livingston into custody and charged him with menacing a police officer and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
No officer was injured during Livingston’s arrest. He is currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
