A man allegedly gave deputies a false name to avoid being arrested on three outstanding warrants.
Deputies were called to a hotel on Grand Island around 8 a.m. Thursday for a disturbance. After calming the subjects down, they began investigating, and one man provided a name that did not match photo identification in a database.
Officers were able to determine the man’s identity as 30-year-old David Camalleri of Grand Island, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant from Family Court and two drug-related warrants from Buffalo City Court.
Camalleri was taken into custody and charged with false personation. He was being held in the Erie County Holding Center on $250 bail.
