NFTA police investigating robbery on UB South campus

The NFTA Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. at the University Station on University at Buffalo's South Campus.

Two victims were approached by three suspects who demanded that they hand over personal items. One of the suspects pushed the victims and another suspect displayed a knife before they fled the area empty handed. 

The three suspects were described as a thin black male wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants, a thin black male with short dreadlocks wearing a light shirt and striped shorts, and a heavy-set white female wearing jean shorts and a sparkly top.

UB police and NFTA police searched the area but the suspects were not found. Anyone who may have information can contact the NFTA police tip line at (716) 331-7187.
