A woman has been arrested and a man is being sought in connection to a violent home invasion on Grand Island.
Aruond 12:30 a.m. December 1, deputies say Adeela Bonavito, 35, of Buffalo and Melvin Johnson, 38, of Buffalo kicked in the door to a home on Baseline Road. Once inside, they assaulted a woman and fled with the victim’s television.
The woman was able to identify her attackers and Bonavito was taken into custody on Tuesday. Johnson is still being sought.
Bonavito is being held on $25,000 bail at the Erie County Holding Center. She is charged with second degree robbery, second degree burglary, assault, third degree criminal mischief and petit larceny.
