A Southern Tier man has been charged with breaking into multiple homes in the Village of Wellsville.
Detectives began investigating after the burglaries were reported in October. Officers connected the crimes to Christopher French-Lawson, 22, of Scio, who was arrested Tuesday and charged with third degree burglary, third degree criminal mischief and fourth degree grand larceny.
Lawson, who was being held in the Allegany County Jail on previous burglary charges, was arraigned and returned to the jail.
