A man who stole cigarettes from a 7-Eleven in Jamestown is in custody.
Police say 39-year-old Wilfredo Castrillo wore a ski mask when he went into the store on North Main Street around 3:30am Tuesday. He demanded cash, but when he didn’t get any, he came behind the counter and stole cigarettes.
Officers were able to identify Castrillo using store and city surveillance systems and arrested him a short time later.
Castrillo is charged with third degree robbery and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail after being arraigned.
