A standoff situation on Christmas Eve in Buffalo came to a quick conclusion.
A man in the 1600 block of Clinton Street was reportedly inside the home and threw knives at police from an upper floor window. He also started a part of his roof and curtains on fire.
He could be seen standing in the broken out window wearing a black ski mask, yelling at police.
Less than 10 minutes later, the SWAT team rushed the home. The suspect climbed out onto the roof and there was a loud bang.
The suspect climbed back in and SWAT exited after the man was taken into custody. There were no injuries.
With that, the standoff ended. But it’s unclear what started this situation.
