Teen and her passenger both charged with DWI

Posted

Following the Buffalo Bills game on Sunday, a 19-year-old Elma resident was charged with DWI – and so was her 18-year-old passenger.

Orchard Park Police stopped Kailyn Miller as she was driving on North Buffalo Road. Officers say her vehicle had heavy front end damage, was steaming and trailing fluids, and had both air bags deployed.

Miller was arrested for DWI and officers found she had a BAC of .11 percent.

But police say it was Miller’s passenger, Jessica Dobe of Tonawanda, who was behind during a hit-and-run accident on Southwestern Boulevard near Milestrip earlier in the evening.

Dobe was arrested for DWI and officers found she had a BAC of .08 percent. Dobe was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
