A 16-year-old boy has died after having been struck by a vehicle that fled the accident scene.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday on Krueger Road in the Town of Wheatfield. Ryan Fisher was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he later died.
Deputies are looking for a white sedan with front end passenger side damage. Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information is asked to call detectives at 716-438-3393.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest.
