State Police arrested two men over the weekend in Niagara County who they say were bilking the unemployment system.
Robert Bentley, 56, of Lockport was taken into custody on Friday. Troopers say between February 2011 and November 2012, Bentley collected more than $4,300 in unemployment while working at Lock City Pizza.
Police say between March 2014 and August 2014, James Doxey, 34, of Lockport collected more than $4,800 in unemployment while working for Brigham Concrete Construction. He was arrested Sunday.
Both Bentley and Doxey are charged with third degree grand larceny, first degree offering a false instrument to file and first degree falsifying business records.
They are both due back in court at later dates.
