Three teenagers have pleaded guilty to the gang rape of an 18-year-old woman on Buffalo’s east side.

Daqwan Morris, 19, aka “Snook J with the AK;” as well as 18-year-olds Shamek Young, aka “Face;“ and Paul Brown, aka “PaulOut;” all pleaded guilty Tuesday during jury selection to the gang rape of an 18-year-old victim in the summer of 2014.

Morris invited the victim over to the house and he and another man overpowered her, raping and sodomizing her. Over the next four hours, the victim was kept in a third floor attic and the men took turns raping and sodomizing her.

Portions of the gang rape were recorded and shared with others on Facebook and Twitter. One of the cell phones was in the hands of a local attorney for several months and a break was made in the case when a judge ordered the cell phone turned over to authorities.

Morris, a self-identified member of the “Zelmer Boys” gang, pleaded guilty to first degree rape and first degree criminal sexual act; Young, a member of the “Grimmie Gang,” pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree rape and three counts of first degree criminal sexual act; and Brown, who is also a member of the “Grimmie Gang,” pleaded guilty to first degree rape.

Two other men, Dequan Rosenthal and Cornelius Caddele, also members of the “Grimmie Gang,” previously pleaded guilty for their roles in the gang rape. Rosenthal was the other man who helped Morris overpower the victim.

Morris and Young face up to 40 years in prison while Brown faces up to 25 years in prison when all three are sentenced in February.
