A 26-year-old woman is facing petit larceny charges after deputies say she stole a bike in order to help her play Pokemon Go.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says Brandi-Lyn Heidenreich took a bike from behind a business on North Main Street in Oakfield.
The bike belonged to a 13-year-old who had stopped in to visit his mother at work.
Deputies say Heidenreich took the bike back to her house and left it there. When they located Heidenreich walking nearby, she allegedly told them she took the bike to be faster while playing Pokemon Go.
The bike has since been returned to the boy and his mother.
