A speeding car overnight was chased by police from the Town of Ripley into Pennsylvania, according to Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Jared Rater, 30, was driving west on Route 20 and failed to comply with a traffic stop. Rater lead police into Pennsylvania where Pennsylvania State Police and North East Police Department assisted Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies.
Rater was taken into custody for a DUI by Pennsylvania State Police.
Rater was given tickets for traffic infractions in New York, failure to comply to a lawful order, unregistered vehicle and speeding.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
