Police are investigating after a child was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Village of Hamburg around 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Hamburg Village Police say a five-year-old boy was accidentally struck by his father while backing his vehicle out of the driveway on Woodview Court.
The child was rushed to Oishei Children's Hospital where he later died.
According to police, the preliminary investigation does not show any indication of alcohol or drugs being involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
The names of those involved in the accident are not being released at this time.
