Police investigating two pedestrians struck North Buffalo

Buffalo Police are investigating an incident in which two pedestrians were struck at Crestwood and Hertel Avenues Sunday morning.

Police say around 3:30 a.m. a vehicle was traveling north on Crestwood when it left the road and struck two female pedestrians.

The two females were transported to separate hospitals, one to ECMC and one to Kenmore Mercy.

No information on their condition was given.

Police arrested 23-year-old Sebastian Rivera, of Buffalo, shortly after the incident.

Rivera is being charged with DWI, felony assault, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and leaving the scene of an injury accident.

Police are investigating if there was some type of dispute before the incident occurred.
