Police in the Village of Cuba arrested an Ohio man after they say he tried to confuse store clerks during quick change scams.
31-year-old Dante Sanders is accused of trying to scam clerks by confusing them during checkout, and trying to get them to give him more change than he deserved. Police say once he would get the extra change, he would leave the stores. He's now charged with Petit Larceny.
Sanders was arrested February 10th in the village. The Cuba Police Department is reminding businesses that quick change artists are prevalent in the area. They're asking anyone who thinks they might have been targeted by the scam, or who is being hassled or confused by business patrons to call 911.
