Police: NJ Trooper pulled women over for dates

A New Jersey State Trooper is suspended after authorities say he was pulling women over to ask them out.

Trooper Marquice Prather was arrested for records tampering last Friday.  His arrest comes after several women filed complaints against him after he stopped them while they were driving.

Police say they investigated a number of cases where Prather would pull over women between the ages of 20-35 and ask for their phone number or ask them to go out.  Investigators said the women all told similar stories.  The trooper waived his first appearance in court Wednesday.
